I managed a group of statistical analysts and data researchers. We worked with fact based marketing where we provided clients with strategic and tactical recommendations based on robust statistical models. These models were developed and deployed using R, Business Objects, and Microsoft BI tools.
I was helping out in the risk domain where I developed efficient Monte Carlo algorithms for the estimation of Value at Risk (VaR). Other than that I developed and maintained business intelligence reports for customers using SimCorp's product Dimension. This task mainly involved working with Crystal Reports. In another project I was working with streamlining a new technology for Dimension called Client Reporting which enables customers to deliver reports to their clients in a well structured manner.
I was also the Team Leader for the Reporting team in the Technical Deployment division. The team was responsible for the creation of business intelligence reports within domains such as risk, performance and general transactions reports. Other than that our activities involved implementation, education, best practice development, support and strategic development.
Graduated from Lund University, with the doctoral dissertation "Improving diagnosis of acute coronary syndromes in an emergency setting: A machine learning approach", in 2008. Received the Markussen award for young talented researchers.
